I enjoy playing fantasy life, but the wait is ridiculous long. Have to wait for like 10 people?? How is one able to get admin on certain game's.

Try posting under the Clan Game section of the forum you'll most likely get a much more thorough reply to what you're searching for. Another thing you have to understand is that the fantasy life is ran under the Game tag that host a big variety of maps. So you might not get a very map specific answer to your question unless the map is popular amongst the game community on these forums. You can always apply to become a host moderator but it's currently offer filled and they aren't giving out access.

Speaking of the lack of admins, is there anyone I can talk to about getting admin on Gamehost-4 that hosts Island Defense? I'm not stating there is anything wrong with your admins, but it seems that many aren't playing as much. I think it would help a great deal if there would be more admins in-game to handle the different situations.
And as I stated in my introduction, I do have experience in the admin area.

This is actually one of the reasons I joined this site. I too am seeking admin privileges for reasons similar to yours. Good luck with the application process and hopefully I will see you in a game some time. =D

(On a vaguely related note) I am actually looking for a partner in crime in making my own version of Fantasy Life (only loosely based on the game). While I love the game I would have done the map a little differently. I am looking for someone relatively experienced in triggers as I am just now starting to get into jass and to make the map run efficiently I would like to have an experienced someone that can help me cut out memory leaks and whom I can bounce ideas off of. I'll be starting a new "topic" soon to see if there is anyone on this site who might be able to help.

Can't personnaly help you but your project sounds nice so good luck:) I hope it'll succes and if one day you need help by testing (even if I know I wouldn't be the best tester at all) or doing anything else except coding I'm free:)
